Music

So today I was left home with baby brother and I felt like looking at youtube videos. Brother would sit on my lap and bring me popsicles. :) well we started out watching evanescence videos which Talon turned out to love. I then googled "bands like evanescence" and found tons of other bands which happened to have cool songs. These are the bands I found: "We are the fallen", "Lacuna coil", "Within temptation", "Flyleaf", and "Epica". So happens that all those bands are rock bands that have women as their lead singers. That is so cool. That pretty much occupied my time from 5:30 to 6:45. A perfect way to spend my Friday night. Watching those videos makes me want to go downstairs and practice my guitar. I suck at the guitar. I can play a little snippet of 'hey there delilah", "Harry Potter theme song", and part of an Enrique Iglesias song. One day I'll be good though and everyone will be impressed. :)

Back to School

Ahhhh today was hideous. okay it wasn't hideous it was livable but still I could have gone my whole life and not needed today to be there. So in my francais class i had to give a little dialogue that I memorized last minute. I was impressed with my self. I said it really fast and it sounded french. ;) that's what matters, right? well french wasn't that bad. but then I went to Gym class or what they like to call it "Lifetime Activities". hideous hideous hideous. It was horrible. He made us do caterpillars. Those are when you literally have to crawl like a caterpillar and your shirt practically falls over your head. That's fine when your a guy but sucks when your a girl and have to pull down your shirt every time you go down. Well then we had to do other stretches which I was perfectly fine with. But then we got to the dreaded part. LUNGES & SQUATS. Who the hell decided those would be good exercises? did they want me to be a stub that has to pull herself around with her hands. I swear we did about 100 of each of them and I'm not lying. In between intervals we would have to get down on our stomachs and do push ups. Well as it happens I have no upper body strength any way. I must have looked pathetic. I would have laughed at myself if I had seen exactly what I as doing. It was bad. At least the coach had the decency to look away. I don't think I could have taken it if he looked at me like I little worm. After the lunges, push ups, and squats we had to jog. Mind you this is my first day of gym class since last May. I was thinking "oh, okay, jogging, I can do jogging, jogging doesn't really require muscle power." WRONG. I get to my feet and try to jog. My muscles in my thighs refused to move. It's like they constricted around my femur bone and refused to let the lactic acid flow! I was barely moving and my legs were on fire. All the other students are of course fine and they are jogging happily up ahead. I felt ridiculous. I then tried to convince the coach to let me walk the rest of it. I thought he would comply because we had sent him an email before stating how I had had the flu. WRONG AGAIN. He asked me what was wrong and I said "my muscles can't move" He told me to try jogging slowly and I was like, okay, what I was doing before. By the time Gym was over I was the only one having trouble walking and I was red faced. It was hideous. I tried to go to my English class next but it was up the stairs. I was pulling my self up the stairs by the handrails. For the rest of the day my legs didn't work quite right and I was tired. I'm just saying that next time I'm going to be more prepared. ;)

Almost A Year

Well, I'm quite impressed with myself. I haven't written on here since last April. Dang!!! Sadly, not much has changed. Only now i'm a junior who worries about ACT scores. I am dreading going to Gym class tomorrow. I know it sounds pathetic but I really don't want to go. They are going to make me do all the exercises that I hate doing such as running and pushups and situps. They should just let me play basketball and go my own pace. I'm sure thats a much healthier way to go about things. I was absent for three days last week thanks to an illness that my father brought home with him. What an @$$. :) jk. But really it sucked. I forced myself to go to my Pre-Calc class though. I refuse to miss that class because if I do than I will fail and I refuse to fail. What's funny is that Dad was the one who gave everyone the sickness but as soon as he was over it he acted like we were trying to give him the plague. He refused to let anyone even eat near him. I decided I don't like Instacare doctors. They don't give a shiz about you. I went in there because I had a red and white throat but he only spent like 2 minutes with me and ended with the advice that I shouldn't "sniff". I do not like him. Rude.

I decided that from now on I'm just going to post stories that I've written. Just for fun. Here's one called Pepper and Sage:

Pepper and Sage

In the city of Queso there was a very popular and beautiful mouse named Pepper Queso. Pepper’s father was the founder of Queso town. Pepper grew up on Monterey Jack Lane. All the cheese stores were just on the corner of Cheddar and Havarti, right across the street from Monterey Jack Lane. When Pepper turned 16 months old she was allowed to go on her first date. Pepper was just so excited. She knew that when she went to Queso High the next morning every mouse boy was going to ask her out. When Pepper woke the next morning her heart was a flutter. She danced across the floor to her yellow dresser. She couldn’t decide what shade of yellow or orange fit her best.

She skipped to her desk which was in the far corner of her room. She picked up her Orange Munster phone and called up her bestest friend Sage. Pepper heard one ring before she heard Sage’s high sweet voice “Hello?” said Sage. “Hi Sage, How are you this fine morning?’’ said Pepper. Sage replied instantly “I’m just great, I’m so excited for today. It’s going to be the best day ever.’’ Pepper answered “Why is that?’’ Sage’s high voice sang “I’m 16 months old today!!!!” Pepper was stunned, she couldn’t believe that Sage, her bestest friend could ever take this special day away from her. That exact instant Pepper pushed the end call button. Pepper’s thoughts were full of hatred for Sage. She thought “how could Sage be so cruel as to turn 16 months old today too?’’ “The very day I turned 16.’’ She said aloud.

A loud CHEESE, CHEESE, CHEESE, came from her Munster phone. Pepper looked at the Caller I.D. and saw the words Bestest Friend. Pepper didn’t know what to do. She didn’t know whether she should answer and express her feelings or just leave the phone alone and pretend that she hadn’t heard the ring. Pepper chose the latter. Pepper took slow mournful steps toward her dresser and chose the Cheddar cheese colored shirt and the Parmesan cheese colored shorts. She then walked slowly down her long staircase to the kitchen. Her maid had set out an assortment of her favorite cheese slices. On any regular day Pepper would have been overjoyed. But today Pepper was not in the mood for Mozzarella, Ricotta, Cheddar, Gouda, or Pepper Jack cheese. Pepper wanted something a little more special. She went to the cheese box and took out a small square of her father’s most prized cheese, Provolone. Provolone wasn’t easy to come by in the small town of Queso.

Pepper looked at her Mickey Mouse watch and saw that it was almost 8 o’clock. School starts at 8:15. Pepper ran through the dining hall into the main foyer. She opened the door, and ran to her bright, vibrant, yellow Montasio BMW. She hopped in her Montasio, and drove to Queso High.

When Pepper arrived at Queso High her mind had forgotten all about Sage and was now focused on all the boys that were going to ask her out. She jumped out of her Montasio happier than the moment she had woken up that morning. She had a large vibrant smile upon her face. She dashed to the doors of Queso High, opened them up and then tripped upon an up turned rug. It just so happened that her no longer bestest friend Sage was right there with a line of boys following her, exclaiming to her how pretty and wonderful she was. Pepper was embarrassed beyond belief. Everyone looked at her and laughed, including Sage.

When Pepper saw Sage, all her emotions from that morning, came rolling back in one huge sweep. Sage saw Pepper’s tear streaked face and then realized how embarrassed she must be. Sage ran to Pepper and told Pepper to come to the girl’s room with her. Pepper decided that following Sage would be better than sitting in the middle of the floor with everyone looking at her.

When Sage and Pepper reached the bathroom, Sage turned to pepper and asked “Why did you hang up on me this morning?’’ Pepper turned her face away and in small whisper she lied and said “My battery died.’’ Sage was then filled with joy, for she thought that she had done something to upset Pepper. Sage turned to Pepper and gave her the biggest brightest smile and said “So, guess what?’’ Pepper turned to Sage and in a muffled sob said “What?’’ “Mike Mouse asked me to Homecoming!’’ replied Sage. Pepper thought her small heart had just stopped. “Mike Mouse, he said he was going to ask me out when I turned 16. That lying mouse, how dare he ask Sage my used to be bestest friend. I must warn Sage, I guess I could put the whole, turning 16 on the same day as me behind me for now.’’ Pepper turned to Sage and said in her sweetest most concerned voice “Sage, Mike Mouse is a lying mouse. You really ought not to go to Homecoming with him.’’ “Why, whatever did he do?’’ replied Sage. “He told me he was going to ask me to Homecoming.’’ Sage looked at Pepper and said “Well I guess that I will have to call him on my Parmesan phone, and tell him that I can’t and won’t go with him to Homecoming.’’

Pepper felt wonderful when she heard Sage say those words. Pepper then realized how good of a friend Sage was. She decided that turning 16 on the same day as Sage was pretty cool and not bad at all. From that day forth, until Pepper and Sage turned 17 they were bestest friends.

THE END

Okay, I know I need to be a little more consistent on here. My last post was in January. :D Let me fill you in on the workings of my life.

So I went to bed at 11:10 because I was really caught up in the rerun of Scrubs. Scrubs is the best!! Who does not like goof ball J.D. and Elliot? I mean come on!
Any ways, ate bf as usual. Can't go without bf, most important meal of the day. I went to my Titan Pride class where my bff Pedro (he has austism) wanted to show me his Preference dance pictures. He's a cutie. We watched Remember the Titans and I got sheet which I pretty kinda B.S.'d it. Next I went to English where we took a surprise end of term test that was actually only a surprise to me. :D My Algebra class was pretty good other than I had another test on which I kinda guessed on a few questions. At lunch I at a nutrigrain bar thingamabob. I then ate about 15 mints. Afterwords my mouth was minty fresh. In Art we worked on perspective. I have to say that I am pretty skilled. jk.

When I got home I read Les Mis. and tried to focus on my math homework while I sang in a chinese voice the problems. It didn't go so well. Me and my sisters got in a chinese/japanese/korean language fight and my mom thought we were really retarded, but in reality it was hilarious!!!! Thats it for March and April :D jk

I know I haven't written in awhile so....

Well, I got up as usual this morning at about 6:05. I had woken up about 3 times in the night which sucked but I know I get more sleep than others. I decided that I'd wear a sweater I hadn't worn since the 8th grade and a necklace which I hadn't worn for a few weeks. This outfit was probably one of the nicest I've worn to school this year, so I was pretty proud except for the fact that there was a hole in the armpit of my sweater.

I ate some cereal with mint green tea and then did my hair and put make up on. I drove to school which was nice except I almost got hit by a bus for the 50th time. By now I've become used to mom critiquing my driving, which I know she's supposed to do but that doesn't make it any less annoying. :D

It was a B day which meant a really really boring day. My first period was french which means a lot of mumbo jumbo words which I have to repeat 100 times to the teacher. I always feel a little awkward around my french teacher now because I had a weird water slide dream and she was in it. Your teachers are supposed to stay out of amusement parks in your dreams.

World Civ. was how it always is. Teacher always forgets about what the original subject is on and then he rambles for 1/2 an hour. He is of his own mind. He has own religion and gov. party. He's kind of a quack but I like him all the same. He has shared some funny stories.

Biology was kinda weird. My teacher told me how he'd met my dad the day before on the "science" counsel. I was like " I know, I heard. With my dad being a science teacher and all." It was a little weird but my teacher has kind of a goofy fun attitude about things so he just laughed.

I know that Lunch is supposed to be the highlight of student's days but for me it's not. I feel like I'd almost be better off if they gave us like 10 min. to eat so that we can just go to the last period and then go home! but no, they give you an hour. I end up sitting next to what I refer to as "my hallway", it's located next to the drinking fountains and the bathrooms. Perfect combo. My friend Courtney and I end up talking about jokes and playing the question game. We both don't have very dramatic lives and so we're usually racking our brains for something to talk about. My other friend Miki, and Mickenzie are full of drama so we get out daily dose of drama from them.

I swear that if gum had never been invented I would die. It's a plain fact. It is how I keep myself sane. Like, one time I was in Algebra 2 and I was having super bad cramps. I mean imagine a you just got ran over by a car and the wheel ran over your uterus. It was horrible. My friend Chelsea was offering gum and I almost burst into tears of joy. That gum helped me get through that 90 minutes of hell.

My last class of the day was Multimedia. I made a mouse and made it jump on a fridge and grab a cookie. It was pretty awesome. If I ever end up getting all the Adobe CS4 programs I'll show you all how worked but since I don't you'll have to wait til you see it on the internet. :D

Monday

Today started out well, I had apple/cinnamon oatmeal for breakfast. You know, the packaged kind you get from Walmart. I then had some awesome Pomegranate Green Tea. I packed my self a lunch of an apple and a shake thing a ma bob. That lasted me pretty good. I went home and decided that I needed a snack and so a made an all fruit smoothie. An hour later I was hungry again and so I had some ritz crackers and cheese. My Mom then made some sort of noodle chicken vegetable dish and I had to eat it. I thought I was doing pretty good except after about 2 hours some Peanut Butter M&M's were staring me in the face. I resisted them for about 1/2 and hour and then indulged myself. I don't know why I had them, its not like I was actually hungry. I have made up my mind that I'm going to start dieting and exercising starting tomorrow. I've been learning about Health and Fitness for the past 2 months. I think now would be a good time to put that knowledge into play. I know its going to be tough because its etching into the holiday season but I'm going to prove to myself that I can do it.
